Our take on the TECLAST tablet T65 13.4" 6/128GB

The TECLAST T65 is a 13.4-inch Android tablet built around a 1920x1200 IPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, an octa-core A75 chip at 2.2GHz, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It stands out for its large screen at a low weight of 17.6 oz, plus 4G VoLTE, an 8000mAh battery, stereo speakers and a 3.5mm jack. Android 16 ships with parental controls and a large-icon mode aimed at seniors, kids and first-time users. It is a budget big-screen tablet rather than a premium one, so expect mid-range performance and a 1920x1200 resolution stretched across 13.4 inches.

Pros
  • 13.4-inch screen is unusually large for the price
  • 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and animation smoother than most budget tablets
  • 8000mAh battery suits long video sessions
  • 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, GPS and a 3.5mm jack cover the basics
  • Tempered glass screen protector pre-installed in the box
  • Light for its size at 17.6 oz
Cons
  • 1920x1200 is low density on a 13.4-inch panel; text and icons look soft
  • A75 cores at 2.2GHz are entry-level; heavy games and multitasking will struggle
  • 6GB RAM limits how many apps stay open
  • 13MP rear camera is basic and mainly for documents
  • Android 16 on a budget brand means uncertain long-term update support

Questions and answers

Is the TECLAST T65 worth it?
Yes if you want a very large screen for video, reading and light apps at a budget price. No if you need sharp text, fast gaming or long software support.
Is 1920x1200 sharp enough on a 13.4-inch screen?
It works for video and casual use, but pixel density is low for this size. Small text in documents and web pages will look softer than on a 2K or 2.5K tablet.
Can it run games?
Light and mid-tier games run, but the A75 cores at 2.2GHz and 6GB RAM will not hold high frame rates in demanding titles. The 120Hz screen helps scrolling more than gaming.
Does it take a SIM card?
Yes, it supports 4G VoLTE for mobile data and calls where the carrier allows it. Check your carrier's bands before relying on it as a travel tablet.
What is in the box?
The tablet comes with a factory-installed tempered glass screen protector. A charger and cable are typically included; confirm the listing for the exact bundle.
When is it cheapest?
Budget tablets like this usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Track the price history and buy below the recent average rather than at list price.
What do buyers say about the TECLAST tablet T65 13.4" 6/128GB?
