Questions and answers
- Is the Tekamon lift recliner worth it?
- At $464.00 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a powered lift chair with heat and massage. Expect basic comfort rather than premium upholstery at that price.
- How much weight does it hold?
- The chair is rated for 350 lb. That is above the 300 lb typical of many budget lift chairs.
- Does it need to be plugged in?
- Yes. The lift, recline, heat and massage all run on electricity, so it needs a wall outlet within reach of the cord. It will not lift or recline during a power outage.
- How much room does it need to recline?
- Leave clearance behind the chair for the back to recline and in front for the footrest to extend. A few feet of space behind and ahead is the safe rule for full recline.
- What comes in the box?
- The chair ships in parts with the remote and hardware for assembly. You will need to attach the back and base sections before use.
- When is it cheapest?
- Only one new listing is tracked, at $464.00 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent low to wait for. Watch for holiday furniture sales for any drop.
