Questions and answers

Is the Tekamon lift recliner worth it?

At $664.00 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a low price for a lift recliner with massage and heat. Comparable lift chairs from major brands often cost $800 to $1,200. If you mainly need help standing up and a basic massage, it covers that for less.

How much weight can it hold?

The chair is rated for 350 lb. That is above the 300 lb limit common on budget lift chairs, so it suits larger users better than many rivals.

Will it fit through my doorway?

At 30 in wide, it should pass through most interior doorways, which are usually 30 to 32 in. Measure your doorway and the path to the room before ordering.

Does it need to be plugged in?

Yes. The lift and massage motors run on household power, so the chair needs to sit near an outlet. There is no battery backup, so it will not lift during a power outage.

What is included with the chair?

You get the recliner, the power lift mechanism, the massage and heat controls and the power cord. Assembly is usually limited to attaching the back, and a helper is useful because the chair is heavy.

When is the price lowest?

Lift chairs tend to drop during holiday sales and Medicare open enrollment in the fall. With only one store listing it new, watch that listing for markdowns rather than expecting a price war.

Where is the Tekamon Power Lift Recliner Chair with Massage and Heat cheapest?

At Walmart, for $664.00, as of our latest check.
