Our take on the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud Pillow

The Tempur-Cloud is Tempur-Pedic's softest pillow, a single molded piece of TEMPUR memory foam about 5 inches thick with a removable, machine-washable polyester knit cover. It comes in Queen and King and is aimed at back and stomach sleepers who want a low, yielding surface rather than a firm support pillow. At $84 at Kohl's as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, well under the $100-plus it often sells for.

Pros
  • Soft, slow-sinking TEMPUR foam that relieves pressure
  • Removable cover is machine washable
  • Single molded piece won't clump or shift like shredded fill
  • Low 5-inch profile suits stomach and back sleeping
  • $84 at Kohl's as of November 5, 2026 is a low price for this pillow
Cons
  • Too soft and low for most side sleepers
  • Memory foam traps heat and can sleep warm
  • Foam has a noticeable new-pillow odor at first
  • Only Queen and King sizes; no standard or travel size
  • Not cheap for a pillow even at the current price

What reviewers say

Owners generally like the soft, pressure-relieving feel and the washable cover, and many back and stomach sleepers say it eased neck and shoulder discomfort. The most common complaints are that it is too soft and flat for side sleeping, that it sleeps warm, and that it has an initial foam smell.

Questions and answers

Is the Tempur-Cloud good for side sleepers?
Usually not. At about 5 inches thick and extra soft, it compresses too much to fill the neck gap most side sleepers need. Side sleepers generally do better with a firmer, thicker pillow.
How does it compare with the Tempur-Pedic NeckPillow?
The NeckPillow is firmer and contoured to support the neck, while the Tempur-Cloud is flat and soft for back and stomach sleepers. Choose the Cloud for a low, yielding feel and the NeckPillow for firmer support.
Can I wash the Tempur-Cloud pillow?
The cover is removable and machine washable. The TEMPUR foam core itself should not go in a washer; spot clean it and let it air dry.
What sizes does it come in?
Queen and King only. The Queen measures about 24 by 15.5 inches and is roughly 5 inches thick.
When is the Tempur-Cloud cheapest?
It has sold around $100 or more at times and is $84 at Kohl's as of November 5, 2026. Holiday and mattress-event sales are when it typically drops lowest.
Where is the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud Pillow cheapest?
At Kohl's, for $84.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud Pillow?
3 stores we checked sell it, including Kohl's, Tempur-Pedic Toppers, Jordan's Furniture.
