Is the Tenways Wayfarer fast enough for commuting?

Pedal assist reaches 28 mph, so it is a Class 3 e-bike. That is quick for city trips, but check local rules because Class 3 bikes are barred from some paths.

Who does the Wayfarer fit?

Tenways lists it for riders from 5'4" to 6'3". The step-through frame and single frame size mean shorter and taller riders should check standover and reach before buying.

Can I carry cargo on it?

Yes. It has a MIK-compatible rear rack and a 265 lb maximum payload, which covers the rider plus bags or a child seat within that limit.

Are the tires good for bad roads?

The 27.5 x 2.6 in Kenda EPS tires are wide, puncture-resistant and have reflective strips. They handle cobbles and rough streets better than narrow commuter tires, though there is no suspension.

What brakes does it have?

Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. They need less hand force than mechanical discs and stay consistent in rain.

When is the Wayfarer cheapest?

E-bike prices usually dip during spring sales, Black Friday and end-of-season clearances. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.
