Our take on the The Holiday Aisle 60" Narrow Solid Wood Console Table

A 60-inch-wide, 18-inch-deep console table in solid American black walnut, with two drawers and walnut-and-brass handles. It is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and a floating drawer box, so the drawers sit inside the frame rather than on a visible face. At $159.99 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the two stores that carry it. That is low for a solid walnut piece of this width, so check the wood grade and finish before ordering.

Best forEntryways and hallways that need a long, shallow surfaceLiving rooms behind a sofa or under a wall-mounted TVBuyers who want solid walnut rather than veneerAnyone needing closed drawer storage in a narrow footprint

Pros

Solid American black walnut, not veneer or engineered wood
Mortise-and-tenon joinery is sturdier than dowel or cam construction
Two drawers with a floating box keep the front clean
60 inches wide but only 18 inches deep, so it fits narrow halls
Walnut and brass handles match the finish
$159.99 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026 is low for solid walnut at this size

Cons

Solid walnut at this price may mean thinner boards or a lower grade of lumber
Only two drawers, and no shelf or open storage below
At 32.5 inches tall it is taller than many console tables, so check sightlines
Black and brass color options may not match the walnut finish shown
Assembly and finish quality are the usual weak points at this price
