Is the Freedom Snow Suit actually waterproof?

Yes. It is sold as a waterproof snowsuit, which is what you want for skiing and wet snow rather than light winter wear.

What sizes does it come in?

Listings show US sizes 5 and 6. That covers roughly ages 5 to 7, so check your child's height against The North Face size chart before buying.

Is $190 a good price?

It is the best new price among 4 stores as of November 7, 2026. Snowsuits this size from The North Face often sit near this level, so watch for end-of-season markdowns if you can wait.

Can my child wear it without a jacket underneath?

Yes. The one-piece shell covers the torso and legs, so a base layer and midlayer are usually enough. Add a fleece on very cold days.

How do bathroom breaks work in a one-piece suit?

The suit has to come off at the shoulders, so plan for help. That is the main trade-off against a separate jacket and bib.

The listing is labeled male, but the fit is a standard kids' cut. Anyone in sizes 5 or 6 can wear it.
