How does the extendable length work?

The suit has a growth feature that adds about 1.5 inches of length, letting you size up the fit as your child grows. It is meant to stretch the suit across more than one season.

What temperature is the Buga II good for?

With 150g Microtemp insulation and a polyester shell, it is built for typical winter cold and snow play. It is not a extreme-cold expedition suit, and layering underneath matters on very cold days.

What sizes does it come in?

Columbia makes the Buga II in kids' sizes, and the 13-inch inseam and 13.5-inch center back length reflect the smaller end of the range. Check the size chart for your child's height before ordering.

The shell is 100% polyester with Columbia's water-resistant finish, which sheds light snow and damp. It is not a fully waterproof rain suit, so long wet sessions can soak through.

Is $79.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, so there is no direct comparison. Columbia kids' snowsuits often list higher at full price, so $79.99 at Amazon is reasonable if the size fits.

The snowsuit itself. It is a one-piece suit, so no separate jacket or pants are included.
