Is 200 thread count good for percale sheets?

Yes. Percale is judged by weave, not thread count alone, and 200 is a common, durable percale count. Higher counts in percale often mean finer yarns that feel smoother but wear faster.

Will these fit a mattress with a topper?

The fitted sheet is rated for mattresses up to 18 inches deep. A thick topper can push past that, so measure your total height before buying.

How do these compare with sateen sheets?

Percale is crisp, matte and breathable; sateen is smoother, heavier and warmer. Hot sleepers usually prefer percale, while people who want a silky feel lean sateen.

Do they soften after washing?

Yes. Cotton percale softens over the first several washes. Wash cold and tumble low to limit shrinkage and wrinkling.

A queen flat sheet (90 by 102 inches), a fitted sheet with deep pockets, and two pillowcases. It is a four-piece set.

When is the best time to buy?

Watch the price history for dips during seasonal bedding sales and clearance events. Compare across stores, since the set is sold by several retailers.
