Is this box worth buying at $175.95?

Only if you want a sealed 2011 box for nostalgia or set building. The contents rarely justify that price on hit value alone.

How many packs and cards are in the box?

A 2011 Topps Opening Day hobby box has 36 packs of 7 cards, for 252 cards total.

Are autographs or relics guaranteed?

No. Opening Day boxes do not guarantee an autograph or relic; those are short-printed inserts.

What rookies can I pull?

The 2011 rookie class includes players such as Freddie Freeman and Craig Kimbrel, though not every pack contains one.

How does it compare to a 2011 Topps flagship box?

Opening Day is the cheaper, smaller set with fewer inserts and hits. Flagship boxes cost more and carry better odds.

Sealed 2011 boxes are out of print, so prices track whatever sellers ask. Watch for auctions ending below the $175.95 eBay listing.

Our take on the Topps Opening Day Baseball Box 2011

A 2011 hobby box of Topps Opening Day, a low-cost flagship spin-off aimed at set builders and younger collectors. Each box holds 36 packs of 7 cards, with a base set of 200 cards plus inserts and a shot at autographs and relic cards. Sealed 2011 boxes are now a nostalgia buy rather than a value rip; the only new listing is $175.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, well above the set's original retail level.
