Is the Travelhouse 5-piece set worth it?

At $89.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get three hardside cases plus a tote and toiletry bag. Expect budget-grade shell and zipper durability rather than premium construction.

How does it compare with a polycarbonate set?

Polycarbonate shells flex and recover from impacts better than the ABS-heavy PC/ABS used here. This set costs far less, so it suits occasional travelers more than frequent flyers.

Are the suitcases carry-on size?

The 20-inch case is sized for most US carry-on limits. The 24- and 28-inch cases are checked luggage, and the 28-inch holds 93L.

Do the cases have TSA locks?

Yes. The hardside suitcases include TSA-approved locks, so security can open them without cutting the zippers.

You get the 20-, 24- and 28-inch hardside suitcases, an expandable water-resistant polyester travel tote, and a matching toiletry bag.

Luggage sets usually drop around Black Friday and pre-summer sales. The current $89.99 at Walmart is already near the low end of its recent range.
