Questions and answers

Is the TRINX 2-Story cat house worth it?

At $83.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for an insulated two-level plastic house. It makes sense if you need weather resistance and a second exit; skip it if you want a heated shelter.

Does it come with a heater?

No. The insulation slows heat loss, but you add your own heating pad or straw bedding if you need warmth in freezing weather.

How big is it?

It stands 35.4 inches high with two levels. That fits most adult cats, but very large cats may find the openings tight.

Where should I put it?

Place it out of wind and direct sun, on a porch, in a garage or under cover. Anchor it so it does not tip, and face the escape door toward open ground.

Is plastic better than a wooden cat house?

HDPE does not rot, absorb urine or need repainting, which matters outdoors. Wood insulates slightly better and looks nicer, but needs more upkeep.

When is it cheapest?

Only one new price is listed, so there is no pattern to go on. Watch for Wayfair sitewide sales and check back around cold-weather months when demand rises.

Where is the TRINX 2-Story Insulated HDPE Outdoor Cat House with Escape Door cheapest?

At Wayfair, for $83.99, as of our latest check.
