Is the Triton TSPS450 worth it?

For hobby and light shop work it is a solid value: a 16 mm stroke, tilting table and dust port at $149.99 at Distritech as of October 30, 2026. If you sand thick hardwoods daily, a more powerful floor model is a better fit.

What size sanding sleeves does it take?

It uses rubber drums with matching abrasive sleeves, typically from 1/2 inch up to 2 inch, swapped by loosening the drum nut. Check that the drum set you buy matches the spindle sizes you need.

Will it fit my shop vac?

The dust port is 35 mm inner and 39 mm outer, and a 39 x 100 mm adaptor is included. That covers many common hoses, but measure your vac's cuff before buying.

Can I use it in the US?

It is supplied for 240V, so it needs a 240V outlet or a step-up transformer in North America. Do not plug it into a standard 120V circuit.

How does it compare with a belt or disc sander?

A spindle sander is for curves, inside profiles and edges; a belt or disc sander is faster for flat faces and straight edges. Many shops keep both.

When is the price lowest?

The only recorded price is $149.99 at Distritech as of October 30, 2026. Watch the price history for drops around holiday sales before buying.
