Overview

The WEN 6524 Oscillating Belt and Spindle Sander combines two sanding methods in one compact machine. Designed to tackle arcs, curves, contours, and beveled edges, it brings versatility to projects ranging from simple edge finishing to intricate profile work. A robust 3.5-amp motor drives both belt and spindles, providing steady power for moderate to demanding tasks without needing to switch tools.

Versatility in one machine

This sander blends belt and spindle functionality with an adjustable oscillation system. The belt moves up to 1575 feet per minute, while spindles reach up to 2000 RPM. The belt oscillates up to 58 times per minute with a 5/8-inch stroke, helping to smooth out irregular shapes and produce consistent finishes. Five spindle sizes (1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1-1/2 inch, and 2 inch) cover a wide range of curves and radii, making it easier to approach complex workpieces from multiple angles.

Beveling and convenience

The built-in beveling work table accepts angled work, tilting from 0 to 45 degrees to help with bevels and angled surfaces. Onboard storage keeps throat plates, rubber sanding drums, table inserts, and other accessories neatly organized, so you can focus on the task at hand. A 1-1/2 inch dust port enables connection to a dust collection system, helping to minimize cleanup after finishing sessions.
