Our take on the Tydimor Modern TV Stand

The Tydimor Modern TV Stand is an engineered-wood media console rated for TVs up to 70 inches, with three shelves and a rustic brown or light black oak finish. It is a budget piece aimed at renters and first apartments rather than a furniture-grade cabinet. At $51.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a 70-inch-capable stand usually costs, and only one store currently lists it new.

Best forShoppers furnishing a first apartment on a tight budgetLiving rooms with a TV between 55 and 70 inchesRenters who want a low-cost stand they can leave behindBuyers who want open shelves for consoles and a soundbar
Pros
  • Handles TVs up to 70 inches at a very low price
  • Three open shelves keep a media player, console and soundbar visible and ventilated
  • Two neutral finishes, rustic brown and light black oak, fit most decor
  • Open design is easy to assemble and easy to move
  • Low cost makes it a low-risk buy for a spare room or rental
Cons
  • Engineered wood with a printed finish, not solid wood
  • Open shelves show cables and clutter with no doors or drawers
  • No cable-management cutouts or back panel to hide wiring
  • 70-inch rating assumes the TV sits on its own feet or a centered base
  • Only one store lists it new, so price comparisons are limited
