Questions and answers

Is the Typhon Terror XVII worth $11,799?

For a 4,000 lb diesel machine with a Kubota engine, that price is competitive against similar imported mini excavators. It makes sense if you need a towable digger for orchard work or tight jobs, not for full-time construction.

How does it compare with a Kubota or Bobcat mini excavator?

It uses the same Kubota D902 engine found in some name-brand micro excavators, but the rest of the machine is Typhon's own design. Major brands cost more and have far better dealer support; the Typhon undercuts them on price.

What is included with the excavator?

The listing mentions a hydraulic thumb clip as a supported accessory, but does not state whether it is included or sold separately. Check the store listing for the exact package before ordering.

Can it fit through a standard gate?

At 97.24 inches wide, it will not pass through a typical 36-inch gate. It is best suited to open orchards, yards and indoor spaces with wide access.

When is the best time to buy?

The current $11,799 at Walmart is at the low end of its recent range. Mini excavator prices tend to firm up in spring, so buying in late fall or winter may be cheaper.

Where is the Typhon Terror XVII Cabin Mini Excavator cheapest?

At Walmart, for $11,799.00, as of our latest check.
