Our take on the Udreamer Record Player Suitcase Portable Vintage Audio Turntable with Bluetooth

The Udreamer Record Player Suitcase is a belt-drive turntable built into a vintage-style carrying case, with built-in full-range stereo speakers, Bluetooth, an aux input and RCA output. It plays records at 45 RPM and can also stream from a phone over Bluetooth or feed an external speaker system through RCA. It is a low-cost entry point for someone who wants to play a few records without buying a separate amp and speakers.

Best forFirst-time vinyl buyers on a tight budgetCasual listeners who want one box for records and BluetoothSmall apartments and dorms where space is tightGifts for someone curious about records
Pros
  • Built-in speakers mean no separate amp or speaker purchase
  • Bluetooth lets you stream from a phone to the same speakers
  • Suitcase lid and handle make it easy to carry and store
  • RCA output lets you connect it to a bigger stereo later
  • Aux input and headphone support add flexibility
Cons
  • 45 RPM only, so most 33⅓ LPs need a different speed setting or won't play correctly
  • Built-in full-range speakers are small and thin on bass
  • Belt drive and light plastic plinth pick up vibration and skip more easily
  • No built-in phono preamp details, so RCA hookup may need a separate preamp
  • Stylus and tonearm are basic and not upgrade-friendly

Questions and answers

Is this worth it for a first turntable?
Yes if you want to play a few records casually without buying speakers or an amp. If you care about sound quality or own many 33⅓ LPs, save for a turntable with both speeds and a better cartridge.
Does it play 33⅓ RPM records?
The listed spec is 45 RPM only. Most full-length LPs are 33⅓, so check the speed switch on the unit before buying if your collection is mostly albums.
Can I connect it to external speakers?
Yes, it has RCA output. You will likely need a phono preamp between the turntable and powered speakers or an amp, since budget suitcase models often lack a switchable line-level output.
How does Bluetooth work on it?
Bluetooth lets you stream audio from a phone or tablet to the built-in speakers. It does not transmit the record's audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
What comes in the box?
Typically the turntable, a power adapter, a 45 RPM adapter and a basic stylus. Check the listing for a USB cable or extra stylus, since bundles vary.
When is it cheapest?
Budget suitcase turntables usually drop around Black Friday, back-to-school and Prime Day events. Watch the price history for a dip below the recent range before buying.
