Our take on the Untimaty 1/2 in. Cordless Brushless Impact Wrench

The Untimaty is a 21V cordless impact wrench with a brushless motor, a 1/2-inch drive and a claimed 318 ft-lb of torque. At 3.5 lb it is light enough to hold overhead or work one-handed, and it spins up to 3,000 RPM. The best new price is $39.79 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no price spread to compare. At that price it undercuts name-brand brushless impact wrenches by a wide margin.

Questions and answers

Is the Untimaty impact wrench worth it?
At $39.79 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to get a brushless 1/2-inch impact wrench for light jobs. Expect DIY-grade durability, not pro-shop reliability.
Does it come with a battery and charger?
Listings for this class of tool vary, and the specs do not confirm a battery or charger in the box. Check the package contents before ordering, since a bare tool needs a 21V pack.
Can it remove car lug nuts?
With 318 ft-lb it should loosen most passenger-car lug nuts that are torqued to spec. Stuck or rusted nuts and truck wheels may need a breaker bar or a higher-torque wrench.
How does it compare with name-brand impact wrenches?
Name-brand brushless 1/2-inch wrenches cost several times more but deliver more torque and share a battery system with other tools. The Untimaty wins on price and weight, not on power or support.
When is the best time to buy it?
With only one store listing it new, there is no price history to time. Watch for holiday sales at Walmart, when cordless tools often drop.
Where is the Untimaty 1/2 in. Cordless Brushless Impact Wrench cheapest?
At Walmart, for $39.79, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Untimaty 1/2 in. Cordless Brushless Impact Wrench?
Rated 3.2 out of 5 from 26 ratings.
