Will these fit my kitchen island?

They are counter height, with a 25.75-inch seat, meant for counters about 36 inches high. For a 42-inch bar-height counter they will sit too low.

Do I have to assemble them?

Yes. Assembly is required, and the listing notes hardware is sometimes included, so confirm before ordering. Budget 30 to 45 minutes for the pair.

Is the seat real leather?

No. It is faux leather over foam. It wipes clean easily but will not age like real leather.

How many stools come in one order?

Two. The package ships as a pair and measures about 43 by 20 by 13.5 inches at 23.5 lbs.

Do they have a backrest or swivel?

No. These are backless, fixed stools, so they tuck under the counter but offer no back support.

When is the best time to buy?

Watch the price history for dips around holiday sales and furniture clearance events. Compare the pair price per stool against similar solid wood sets.
