Is the Vasagle Laundry hamper worth $39.98?

At $39.98 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, it is a fair price for a two-bag hamper with a steel frame. Comparable fabric sorters often cost about the same without the 30 kg load rating.

How many bags does it have?

It has two compartments with separate Oxford fabric bags, one per side. Each bag lifts out with its hook-and-loop closure so you can carry a load to the machine.

How much weight can it hold?

The listed maximum total static load is 30 kg, spread across the frame and top. That is a static rating, so avoid leaning or sitting on it.

Does it need assembly?

Yes. It ships as five pieces and assembles with the included hardware, typically in under an hour with a screwdriver.

Can the fabric bags be washed?

The Oxford fabric bags are best spot cleaned with a damp cloth. Machine washing can shrink or warp them and weaken the seams.

When is the price lowest?

Laundry storage tends to dip during back-to-school and January organization sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.

Our take on the Vasagle Laundry

The Vasagle Laundry is a two-compartment laundry hamper built from MDF, steel and Oxford fabric in a vintage brown-black finish. It holds two separate bags, so lights and darks can be sorted as they go in, and it carries a 30 kg static load rating. At $39.98 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, it sits at the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to compare against.
