Our take on the VECELO Hanging Planters, Set of 5

The VECELO Hanging Planters are a set of five ceiling-hung plant holders for indoor use, sold as a ready-to-hang set with no assembly. They suit small trailing plants in a window or above a shelf where floor space is tight. At $39.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, this is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forRenters and small-space growers who want plants off the floorIndoor trailing plants like pothos, ivy and string of pearlsGrouping several planters at one window or ceiling hookBuyers who want a set that needs no assembly
Pros
  • Five planters in one set, enough to group or spread out
  • No assembly required; hang and plant
  • Ceiling-hanging placement frees up floor and shelf space
  • Indoor use keeps the setup simple
Cons
  • Indoor only, so not built for rain or full sun outdoors
  • Ceiling mounting means hardware and drilling at the install point
  • Small planters limit you to compact or trailing plants
  • Only one store lists a new price, so there is little to compare against

Questions and answers

Is $39.99 a good price for the VECELO set of 5?
It works out to about $8 per planter. Target is the only store listing a new price as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against.
Can these hang outdoors?
They are listed for indoor use. Rain, wind and direct sun are not what they are made for, so keep them inside or on a covered porch.
Do I need tools to install them?
No assembly is required, but they hang from the ceiling, so expect to add hooks or mounts at the ceiling and use a drill or ladder for that step.
What can I grow in them?
Compact and trailing plants such as pothos, ivy or string of pearls fit best. Large or heavy plants will outgrow them.
How many planters come in the set?
Five. That is enough for a row along one window or a cluster above a shelf.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
With only one new listing, watch for seasonal garden sales and Target promotions. Our agent can track the price history for you.
Where is the VECELO Hanging Planters, Set of 5 cheapest?
At Target, for $39.99, as of our latest check.
