Is the Veken standing desk worth it?

It covers the basics: electric height adjustment, two presets, a safety lock and a reminder, at a budget-desk level. It makes sense if you want sit-stand function without paying for a premium brand. Check the top size carefully, since the listed dimensions disagree.

How big is the desktop really?

The name says 55 inches, the specs say 120 cm (about 47 inches) and the dimensions line says 63 inches wide. Measure your space and confirm with the seller which size ships before you buy.

It adjusts from 28.3 to 46.5 inches. That fits most people up to roughly 6 feet for standing work, but very tall users may want a desk that reaches higher.

Does it have memory presets?

Yes, it has two preset buttons, labeled 1 and 2, so you can jump between a sitting and a standing height. It does not offer three or four presets like some pricier desks.

Is it safe around kids?

It has a child safety lock that stops the desk from moving when engaged. Keep the lock on when children are nearby.

Standing desks usually dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Set a price alert and compare across stores rather than buying at first sight.
