- Is the Veno Solar Palm lock worth it at $81.69?
- At $81.69 on eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest palm-vein locks you can buy. If you want hands-free entry and have light on the door, it is a reasonable gamble; if you need proven reliability and app polish, pay more for a major brand.
- How does palm vein unlock compare with a fingerprint lock?
- Palm vein reads the veins under the skin, so it works with wet, dry or gloved hands and does not leave a fingerprint behind. Fingerprint locks are usually faster and cheaper, but they struggle with wet or worn fingers.
- Do I need to charge it, or does the solar panel keep it running?
- The solar panel tops up the battery when light hits it, so in a bright spot you may go long stretches without charging. In a shaded entry you should plan to recharge it periodically and keep the key handy.
- Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?
- Yes. It connects over Wi-Fi and supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can check lock status and control it by voice. It does not list Apple Home or Matter support.
- What is in the box?
- You get the deadbolt lock, the exterior palm-scan and keypad unit, the interior assembly with solar panel, mounting hardware, keys and instructions. Check the listing for the exact bundle, since eBay sellers vary.
- When is it cheapest?
- The $81.69 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range. Watch for holiday sales and eBay coupons, which tend to push it lower than list price.
