Pros
  • Folds to about 30.7 x 17.7 x 31.5 inches
  • 450 lb load capacity is high for a folding e-bike
  • 20 x 4.0-inch Kenda K-1188 fat tires with puncture-resistant, anti-slip tread
  • Front suspension softens curbs and rough pavement
  • Aluminum frame keeps the build from rusting
  • Guided internal cable routing for a cleaner look
Cons
  • 77 lbs is heavy to lift into a trunk or up stairs
  • 80-mile range is likely a best-case, low-assist figure
  • Front suspension only; no rear shock
  • Fat tires add rolling resistance and cost more to replace
  • Folding hinge is one more part to check and maintain

Questions and answers

Is the Verve fat tire folding e-bike worth $1,199?
At $1,199 at Kingbull Bike as of November 4, 2026, it is priced at the bottom of its recent range. You get a folding aluminum frame, 20-inch fat tires, front suspension and a 450 lb capacity, which is a lot for the money if you can handle the 77 lb weight.
How far can it really go on a charge?
Verve claims 80 miles, but that figure assumes low pedal-assist, a light rider and flat ground. Expect noticeably less with heavy throttle use, hills or a loaded rack.
How big is it when folded?
Folded, it measures about 30.7 x 17.7 x 31.5 inches (78 x 45 x 80 cm). That fits most car trunks and closets, but at 77 lbs it takes two hands and some care to lift.
Can it carry a heavy rider or cargo?
The rated load capacity is 450 lbs, well above most folding e-bikes. That covers a large rider plus a backpack or small load, though check the rack's own limit before adding panniers.
What tires does it use?
It runs 20 x 4.0-inch Kenda K-1188 fat tires with a puncture-resistant, anti-slip tread. They suit pavement, gravel and light trails but roll slower than narrower tires.
When is the best time to buy?
E-bike prices tend to dip around Black Friday, Cyber Monday and end-of-season clearance. The current $1,199 at Kingbull Bike is already near the low end, so waiting may not save much.
Where is the Verve Long Range Fat Tire Folding Electric Bike cheapest?
At Kingbull Bike, for $1,199.00, 33% off, as of our latest check.
