Our take on the VERYKE 59 Inch Home Office Computer Desk with Removable Storage Shelves

The VERYKE is a 59-inch-wide home office desk with a wood top and removable storage shelves underneath. The 59 x 24 inch surface and 30-inch height fit a monitor, laptop and paperwork with room to spare, and the open shelf unit can be pulled out and used separately. It is a budget-tier desk with no cable management, hutch or BIFMA certification, so expect basic particleboard construction. No current price was provided, so compare it against other 59-inch desks before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the VERYKE 59 inch desk big enough for two monitors?
Yes. The 59 x 24 inch top fits two 24-inch monitors side by side with room for a laptop or keyboard. A dual-monitor arm clamps fine as long as the top is thick enough for the clamp.
Can the storage shelves be removed?
Yes, the shelf unit is designed to be removable. You can pull it out to use the desk as a plain table or place the shelves elsewhere.
Does it have cable management?
No. There are no grommets or cable trays, so plan on clips or a under-desk tray to keep cords tidy.
How long does assembly take?
Most buyers of similar desks finish in about 30 to 60 minutes with two people. Have a screwdriver ready and build it on a soft surface to avoid scratching the top.
Is this desk sturdy enough for a heavy desktop PC?
The top is wood over a particleboard core and is not BIFMA certified. A tower on the floor or a shelf is safer than a heavy PC plus monitors on the top.
When is the best time to buy it?
Desks like this usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Check the price history before buying to see if the current price is above or below its usual range.
