- Is this set really oven safe?
- Yes. Vesteel lists the stoneware as oven safe along with microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as freezer to hot oven, which can crack stoneware.
- What comes in the 16-piece set?
- Four dinner plates, four salad plates, four cereal bowls and four pasta bowls, enough for four people. No mugs or serving pieces are included.
- How big are the plates?
- The salad plates are 8.27 inches across. Vesteel does not list the dinner plate size in the specs, so check the listing before buying if plate size matters.
- Is $59.99 a good price?
- It is the only new price listed, $59.99 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. At about $3.75 per piece, it is a low entry price for stoneware.
- Can I put it in the dishwasher?
- Yes. The set is dishwasher safe, and the chip- and scratch-resistant finish is meant to handle regular washing.
- Is it good for a wedding or housewarming gift?
- It suits both. The ribbed, speckled modern look and the full four-person service make it a practical gift, though it arrives without mugs or serving pieces.
