Our take on the Vestil Perforated Roll-A-Fold Ladder LAD-RAF

The Vestil LAD-RAF is a rolling safety step ladder with a perforated tread platform and a fold-down frame, built for industrial and warehouse use. Its 350 lb load capacity and wheels let workers move it to the job and then stand securely. It is a niche industrial product, so pricing varies widely by seller and freight terms; no current price was available to compare against its recent range.

Best forWarehouse and shop-floor workers who need a movable stepMaintenance crews working at low heightsFacilities that want a step that folds for storage
Pros
  • 350 lb load capacity suits heavy use
  • Perforated tread drains water and resists slipping
  • Wheels let one person reposition it loaded or empty
  • Folding design saves floor space when stored
Cons
  • Industrial freight shipping adds cost and lead time
  • Wheels can creep on smooth floors unless braked
  • Perforated tread is harder on bare feet than solid steps
  • No handrail on the basic step, so balance matters

Questions and answers

Is the Vestil LAD-RAF worth it?
For a shop or warehouse that moves a step between workstations, yes. For occasional home use, a fixed household step ladder costs far less.
How much weight does it hold?
Vestil rates it at 350 lb. That covers a worker plus tools, but keep the load centered on the platform.
Does it fold for storage?
Yes, the Roll-A-Fold frame folds down. Check the folded dimensions against your storage space before ordering.
Can I use it on a loading dock or outdoors?
The perforated tread drains water, but the wheels need a firm, level surface. Avoid ramps and uneven pavement.
What comes in the box?
The ladder ships as a unit, usually partly assembled. Expect to attach wheels or the fold mechanism and check the hardware before first use.
When is it cheapest?
Industrial ladders swing with freight promotions and bulk orders. Compare total delivered cost across sellers rather than list price alone.
