Is the Veto Pro Pac TECH PAC worth $314.95?

For a tech who carries tools daily and has worn out cheaper bags, the build and pocket layout justify it. For occasional home use, a $60 tote does the same job.

How much does the TECH PAC weigh?

9.9 lb empty. Loaded with a drill and a full hand tool set it can pass 30 lb, so plan on a shoulder strap or cart.

Does a cordless drill fit inside?

Yes. The large center compartment takes most 18V drills and impact drivers, with batteries attached.

The base is waterproof and the fabric resists water, but the top is open, so rain can get in. It is not a sealed case.

What are its dimensions?

13 inches wide, 19.5 inches tall and 9.8 inches deep, with 46 compartments.

Veto Pro Pac bags rarely discount deeply. Watch for Home Depot holiday sales and bundle promotions rather than expecting large markdowns.

Where is the Veto Pro Pac TECH PAC cheapest?

At The Home Depot, for $314.95, as of our latest check.

Our take on the Veto Pro Pac TECH PAC

The Veto Pro Pac TECH PAC is a heavy-duty open tote tool bag built for technicians who carry a lot: 46 compartments across a 13 x 19.5 x 9.8 inch body, with a rigid waterproof base and a large center cavity for power tools. It weighs 9.9 lb empty, so it is meant to be carried by the handle or shoulder strap rather than hauled up ladders all day. At $314.95 at The Home Depot as of November 8, 2026, it sits at the top of the tool bag market, priced for daily professional use rather than occasional DIY.
