Questions and answers

Is the Tech Pac MC worth it over a cheaper tool bag?
If you carry meters and a compact drill daily and want a lockable, waterproof bag, the build quality justifies the price. A basic canvas bag costs far less but won't protect tools the same way.
How does it compare to the larger Tech Pac?
The MC is the compact version at 18 L. The full-size Tech Pac carries more tools but is bulkier in tight spaces.
Is it really waterproof?
The polypropylene base is waterproof and the shell is abrasion resistant. Zippers and seams are not rated for submersion, so treat it as weather-resistant rather than fully waterproof.
What fits inside?
Veto lists compatibility with meters and compact cordless drill/drivers. The 20 pockets handle hand tools, and the bag is rated to 35 lbs.
Can it be locked?
Yes. It uses YKK locking zippers and a quick-release metal hasp, so you can secure the main compartment.
When is it cheapest?
The $154.95 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is at the low end of its recent range. Watch for drops around trade-show and holiday sales.
