Is the Victorinox Rosewood set worth $135?

It is a fair price for two Swiss-made knives with rosewood handles, and it is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026. Whether it is worth it depends on how often you carve whole roasts or poultry.

Can the wood handles go in the dishwasher?

No. The listing calls for hand washing, and dishwasher heat and detergent dry out and crack rosewood. Wash and dry the knives by hand right after use.

Are the blades serrated?

Yes, the set has serrated blades. That suits crusted roasts and bread, but serrations are harder to sharpen than a plain edge and usually need a professional.

The set contains two knives: a chef's knife and a carving knife. A block or sheath is not listed.

How does it compare with a Victorinox Fibrox carving set?

Fibrox handles are synthetic, dishwasher-safe and cheaper, while rosewood looks better but needs hand care. Blades and steel are similar across both lines.

When is the price lowest?

Only one new price is listed, $135 at Victorinox as of November 7, 2026, so there is no track record to time a purchase by. Watch for holiday sales at kitchen retailers.
