Is Vital Performance protein good for post-workout recovery?

Yes. Each serving has 25g of milk protein isolate with BCAAs and EAAs, which supports muscle recovery after training. The added collagen is a bonus, not the main protein source.

Is it lactose-free if it is made from milk?

Yes. Vital Proteins lists it as lactose-free, so the milk protein isolate is filtered to remove lactose. People with a milk allergy should still avoid it.

How does it compare with plain whey protein?

It delivers similar protein per serving but adds collagen and is lactose-free. Whey is usually cheaper per gram of protein and may digest faster; this one suits shoppers who want collagen in the same scoop.

Does it contain artificial sweeteners?

No. Vital Proteins says it has no artificial sugars. Check the label for the specific sweetener used if you are sensitive to certain ones.

How many servings are in a tub?

A 1.72 lb tub has 21 servings at one scoop each. At one shake a day, that lasts about three weeks.
