Will this fit my Vitamix?

It fits all full-size Classic C-Series blenders, including Vita-Pro and Vita-Prep, and the Drink Machine and Drink Machine Advance. It does not fit Ascent or Smart System blenders.

Is the jar dishwasher safe?

No. Vitamix rates this container hand wash only, so wash it with warm soapy water and rinse well.

You get the 64 oz Tritan container, the wet blade assembly and the lid with a removable steam-release plug.

Can I use it for dry grinding?

No. It ships with the wet blade, which is meant for liquids and frozen mixtures. Use a dry container for grains and spices.

Is it worth replacing just the container?

If your motor base still runs well, a new container is far cheaper than a new blender and restores a tight seal and sharp blade.

Replacement containers tend to dip during Vitamix sales events and holiday promotions. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
