Is the VIVI fat tire e-bike worth it at $688.50?

At $688.50 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheaper ways to get a 750W fat-tire e-bike. Expect budget components and a real range closer to 22-25 miles.

What is the real riding range?

The listing claims up to 60 miles, but the product description itself says 22-25 miles per charge. Plan on the lower figure, less with throttle use or hills.

Top speed is about 19-20 mph, which keeps it in Class 2/3 territory depending on how you ride it. The motor peaks at 1500W for acceleration and climbs.

How long does charging take?

A full charge takes about 4-6 hours from the included charger. The battery is removable, so you can charge it off the bike.

Does it fit shorter riders?

The listed height range starts at 5'3", and the 26-inch wheels and fat tires make the standover tall. Check the frame geometry before buying if you are near that limit.

What comes in the box?

You get the bike, the removable 48V 15Ah battery, a charger and basic tools. Assembly is required, and pedals and front wheel typically need fitting.
