Is the Vivitar Aqua Snap worth it?

Only as a cheap first camera for a kid or a backup for pool photos. A phone in a waterproof case takes better pictures for most adults.

How deep can it go underwater?

Vivitar rates it to 10 feet. That covers pools and shallow snorkeling, not diving.

What batteries does it use?

It runs on AAA batteries, so carry spares. Vivitar claims about 2 days of use, but heavy shooting drains them faster.

What memory card does it take?

It uses a microSD card, which is not included. Buy one separately before your trip.
