About the VL45 Radiohus Portable
VL45 Radiohus Portable by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Louis Poulsen .
Architect Vilhelm Lauritzen initially created the VL45 light for the Danish Broadcasting Company's headquarters, the Radiohuset, in Copenhagen, which now houses the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
In 2025, Louis Poulsen reimagined this timeless and elegant design into a versatile portable lamp, perfect for creating ambience anywhere. The portable lamp is available in three sophisticated colour options: Opal, Pale Rose, and Pale Yellow, all featuring brass detailing that pays homage to the original design.
