Our take on the Vortex POK3R Black LE Frosted White Border RGB LED 60% Mechanical Keyboard Cherry MX Silver

The Vortex POK3R Black LE is a 60% mechanical keyboard with a frosted white border, RGB backlighting and Cherry MX Silver switches. Silver switches are linear and light, with a short 1.2 mm actuation distance, so they suit fast typing and gaming. The layout drops the number pad, function row and arrow keys to save desk space. The best new price is $100 at Mechanical Keyboards as of November 3, 2026, the only new price listed.

Questions and answers

Is the Vortex POK3R Black LE worth it at $100?
At $100 it is a fair price for a 60% board with genuine Cherry MX Silver switches and RGB. Comparable 60% boards often cost more, so it is a reasonable buy if you want a compact wired keyboard.
What are Cherry MX Silver switches like?
They are linear switches with no tactile bump, a 45 g actuation force and a short 1.2 mm travel to actuation. They feel fast and smooth, but light enough that resting fingers can trigger keys.
How do I get arrow keys on a 60% keyboard?
The POK3R uses function layers, so arrow keys are reached by holding a function key with another key. Vortex firmware lets you remap keys and layers to your liking.
Does it work with a Mac?
It is a standard wired USB keyboard, so it works on a Mac, but the key legends and some function shortcuts are set up for Windows. You may need to remap keys for Mac use.
Is this the same as the POK3R RGB?
The Black LE is a limited edition of the POK3R RGB with a frosted white border and a black case. The core 60% layout and RGB lighting are the same.
When is the price lowest?
The listed best new price is $100 at Mechanical Keyboards as of November 3, 2026. Limited editions like this one tend to hold their price, so deep discounts are uncommon.
Where is the Vortex POK3R Black LE Frosted White Border RGB LED 60% Mechanical Keyboard Cherry MX Silver cheapest?
At Mechanical Keyboards, for $100.00, as of our latest check.
