Our take on the Wansview 2K Outdoor Camera 360View Solar Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor

The Wansview 2K Outdoor Camera is a wire-free security camera with a solar panel and built-in rechargeable battery, so it runs without wiring once mounted. It pans 345° horizontally and tilts 60° for near-360° coverage, records 2K (3MP) video, and adds four white lights for color night vision up to about 32 ft. PIR motion sensing with AI human recognition cuts false alerts, and it works with Alexa and Google Assistant. Its price has held at $39.99 at Walmart since October 28, 2026, so there is no cheaper day to wait for in that window.

Questions and answers

Is the Wansview 2K outdoor camera worth it at $39.99?
At $39.99 at Walmart as of October 28, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a panning 2K camera with solar power. Expect budget-app polish rather than premium build, but the core features are all there.
Does it need to be plugged in?
No. It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery charged by the included solar panel, with a Type-C cord for backup charging. Mount the panel where it gets direct sun for the most reliable charging.
How much of a yard can one camera cover?
It rotates 345° horizontally and tilts 60°, so one mount can sweep most of a yard or driveway. It still points one way at a time, so it can't watch two sides of a house at once.
Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?
Yes, it supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control and viewing. Live view can also be shared with up to 3 family members through the app.
What comes in the box?
The box includes the camera, solar panel, Type-C power cord, mounting template sticker, screws and two stickers. You supply the Wi-Fi network and a microSD card or cloud plan if you want recordings.
When is it cheapest?
Its lowest daily price since October 28, 2026 has been $39.99, the same as its highest, so the price has been flat. There is no cheaper recent window to wait for.
