Is the Waterpik Cordless Pulse worth it?

It is worth it if you want a portable flosser for travel, braces, or shower use. If you floss at one sink every day, a plug-in Waterpik with a larger tank and more pressure settings gives more per session.

How does it compare with the Waterpik Cordless Advanced?

The Cordless Advanced adds a third pressure setting, a magnetic charging dock, and a slightly larger tank. The Pulse is cheaper and lighter but has only two settings and charges by USB-C cable.

How long does the battery last?

Waterpik rates it at up to 9 weeks per charge with typical once-a-day use. Heavy use or high pressure shortens that, and a recharge indicator tells you when to plug in.

How much water does the tank hold?

6 oz, which Waterpik rates at about 45 seconds of flossing. That is usually enough for one pass; braces wearers often refill once more.

The flosser, two Classic Jet tips, and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable. No wall adapter is included, so use a standard 5V USB adapter or a computer port.

Cordless water flossers tend to drop around Prime Day, Black Friday, and back-to-school sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.

Our take on the Waterpik Cordless Pulse Rechargeable Portable Water Flosser for Teeth, Gums, Braces Care and Travel with 2 Flossing Tips, Waterproof, ADA Accepted, WF-20 White

The Waterpik Cordless Pulse WF-20 is a rechargeable, waterproof water flosser built for travel and small bathrooms. It has a 6 oz reservoir for about 45 seconds of flossing, two pressure settings, and a lithium-ion battery rated up to 9 weeks per charge. It charges by USB-C but ships without a wall adapter. It is the entry point in Waterpik's cordless line, so expect less pressure and a smaller tank than plug-in models.

What reviewers say

Owners of the Cordless Pulse generally treat it as a travel and backup flosser rather than a replacement for a countertop unit. Reception is mixed on pressure and tank size, and positive on portability and battery life.

Pros

Easy to pack and use on trips
Battery lasts weeks between charges
Shower-safe and simple to fill
Noticeably quieter than older cordless models

Cons

Tank runs dry before a full flossing session
Pressure feels weaker than a plug-in Waterpik
No wall adapter included
Some units develop charging or pump issues over time
