Our take on the Wayfair Sleep by Wayfair Cooling 13" Plush Pillow Top Hybrid Mattress

The Wayfair Sleep Cooling 13" Plush Pillow Top Hybrid is a 13-inch hybrid mattress that pairs pocket coils with cooling memory foam and a plush pillow top. It is CertiPUR-US and OEKO-TEX certified, and the coil core is built for low motion transfer and edge support. It is sold as a mattress only, so a box spring or adjustable base is an extra cost. Its latest best price was $356.99 on November 2, 2026, down from a high of $629.99 on November 1, 2026.

Pros
  • Plush pillow top softens pressure on shoulders and hips
  • Pocket coils limit motion transfer between partners
  • Cooling memory foam and hybrid airflow suit warm sleepers
  • Edge support from the coil perimeter

  • Recent price of $356.99 is well below the $629.99 high
Cons
  • Too soft for most stomach sleepers and heavy sleepers who need support
  • No foundation included; a box spring or adjustable base costs extra
  • Cover is not removable and only spot-cleanable
  • 13 inches is bulky and needs deep-pocket sheets
  • Plush foam can soften further over time

Questions and answers

Is the Wayfair Sleep Cooling 13" Plush Hybrid worth it?
At $356.99 at Wayfair as of November 2, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a plush hybrid with pocket coils and cooling foam. It suits soft-mattress fans; anyone needing firm support should look elsewhere.
How does it compare with an all-foam mattress?
The pocket coil core gives more bounce, better airflow and less motion transfer than a basic foam bed. The plush pillow top keeps the soft, sink-in feel of memory foam on top.
Does it sleep cool?
The cooling memory foam and coil airflow help, but no mattress is actively refrigerated. Hot sleepers should pair it with breathable sheets and a cool room.
What size is it and what sheets fit?
This listing is 79 inches long, a standard twin XL length, and 13 inches thick. Use deep-pocket sheets rated for at least 13 inches.
What is included in the box?
The mattress ships rolled and compressed; a box spring or adjustable base is sold separately. Allow up to a day or two for it to fully expand.
When is it cheapest?
Its lowest recent daily price was $356.99 on November 2, 2026, against a high of $629.99 on November 1, 2026. Watch for holiday and clearance drops toward that low.
