Is the S-435 worth it over a cheaper four-burner grill?

If you want a hot sear zone, a side burner and Weber's parts support, the S-435 earns its price. Budget grills often lose even heat and rust sooner.

How does the S-435 differ from the Genesis II E-435?

The S-435 adds stainless steel trim and finishes over the E-435's painted steel, with the same four burners, side burner and sear zone layout.

Does it come with a propane tank?

No. It is set up for a standard 20-pound propane tank, which you buy separately, and it ships with the hose and regulator.

How much patio space does it need?

Plan for at least 48 inches of height and 27 inches of depth, plus clearance behind and beside it for the lid and side burner.

Can it be converted to natural gas?

Weber sells a natural gas conversion kit for the Genesis II line, but it must be installed correctly; check the kit matches your model before buying.
