Questions and answers

Is the Lina crib worth $674.99?
It is a solid wood crib with two drawers and FSC and Fair Trade certifications, which is more than most cribs at this price offer. If you need drawer storage and plan to use it through the toddler years, the cost is easier to justify.
Does it include the toddler conversion kit?
No. The crib converts to a toddler bed, but the poplar wood conversion kit is a separate purchase. Budget for it if you plan to use the toddler configuration.
What mattress size does it take?
The sleeping surface is 51.6"w x 27.25"d, which fits a standard crib mattress. Use a firm crib mattress that fits snugly with no gaps.
How much assembly is required?
Assembly is required. The crib weighs 90.6 lbs and has drawers, so plan for two people and about an hour or more to build it.
When is the best time to buy it?
West Elm runs seasonal sales, and the only new price listed is $674.99 at West Elm as of November 5, 2026. Watch for holiday and nursery events, when furniture is often discounted.
Is the finish safe for a nursery?
The Blonde frame and Alabaster White drawers use water-based finishes, and the wood is FSC-certified. That is a reasonable choice for a child's room.
Where is the West Elm Lina Storage Convertible Crib cheapest?
At west elm, for $674.99, as of our latest check.
