Our take on the Whirlpool Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer Pair

A side-by-side laundry pair: a 4.5 cu. ft. front-load washer (WFW4720RW) and a 7.4 cu. ft. vented electric dryer (WED4720RW) in white. The washer has 12 cycles including a 25-minute Quick Wash and a Sanitize cycle with Oxi, and the dryer's Wrinkle Shield keeps creases from setting in. The best new price is $1,458 at Bell's Home Furnishings as of November 7, 2026, with 4 stores listing it new. It is a mainstream pair rather than a premium one, so expect basic controls and no steam in the dryer.

Questions and answers

Is this pair worth it over buying the two machines separately?: The pair is priced as a bundle at $1,458 at Bell's Home Furnishings as of November 7, 2026. Buying the same washer and dryer separately usually costs about the same, so the bundle mainly saves you the shopping.
Does the dryer run on gas or electric?: The dryer in this pair is vented electric (WED4720RW) and needs a 240V outlet. A gas version exists under a different model number, so check before ordering.
How big a load does the washer take?: The washer is 4.5 cu. ft., enough for a queen comforter and typical family loads. The dryer is 7.4 cu. ft., so it keeps up with the washer.
Can I stack them?: Yes, but you need a stacking kit, which is sold separately. The pair ships set up for side-by-side installation.
What is the Quick Wash cycle?: It washes a 10-lb load in about 25 minutes. It suits lightly soiled everyday clothes, not heavy stains.
When is this pair cheapest?: Laundry pairs usually drop during major appliance sales around holidays and in fall. Track the price history here to see how $1,458 compares with earlier lows.
Where is the Whirlpool Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer Pair cheapest?: At Bell's Home Furnishings, for $1,458.00, as of our latest check.
