Our take on the Wildon Home 6-Light Chandelier with Fabric Drum Shades

The Wildon Home 6-Light Chandelier is a chrome-finished drum fixture with six bulbs behind fabric shades, giving soft, diffused light rather than exposed-bulb glare. The drum shape and fabric shades suit dining rooms and living rooms where a low-hanging, wide fixture works better than a candelabra style. It is a single-store item at $559.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, with no other new-price competition to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is $559.99 a good price for this chandelier?
It is the only new price listed, $559.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, so there is no competing store to undercut it. Comparable six-light drum chandeliers with fabric shades often sell for less, so compare finishes and shade quality before committing.
How much light does a six-light drum chandelier give?
With six bulbs it produces enough light for a dining room or a large living room, and the fabric shades spread it evenly. Output depends on the bulbs you install, so check the fixture's maximum wattage before buying.
What size room suits a drum chandelier?
Drum chandeliers are wide, so they work best over a dining table or in a room with at least 8-foot ceilings. Leave about 30 to 36 inches between the bottom of the fixture and the tabletop.
Does it come with bulbs?
Most chandeliers in this style ship without bulbs, so plan to buy six separately. Confirm the socket type and wattage limit before ordering.
Can it be dimmed?
Dimming depends on the bulbs and the wall switch, not the fixture itself. Use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer if you want to lower the light.
When is it cheapest?
With one store carrying it, discounts are likely tied to Wayfair's seasonal sales rather than store-to-store competition. Watch the price around major holiday events.
