Is this pad worth it over an electric blanket?

A pad heats from below and stays under the sheet, so it warms the bed rather than the room. That suits people who want a warm mattress without a blanket on top. An electric blanket is easier to move between rooms.

Does each side have its own control?

Yes. The dual controls let each sleeper pick one of 9 heat settings independently. That is the main reason to choose this over a single-control pad.

Will it fit a California King mattress?

It is sized for a California King, which is 72 by 84 inches. Check your mattress depth, since the 1-inch pad adds height under the sheet.

How many heat settings does it have?

There are 9 heat settings per side. Most sleepers settle in the low-to-middle range for overnight use.

What comes in the box?

You get the heated mattress pad and the dual controllers with cords. No price or bundle details were provided, so confirm contents with the store before ordering.

When is the price lowest?

Heated bedding usually drops in late fall and around winter sales, and again in spring clearance. Track the price history and buy when it sits near the low end of its recent range.
