Question 1

Is $303.25 a good price for 16 lamps?

Accepted Answer

That is about $19 per lamp. With only one store pricing it new as of November 3, 2026, there is no second price to compare, so check what your salon supplier charges per lamp before ordering.

Question 2

Will these fit my tanning bed?

Accepted Answer

Only if your bed takes F71 lamps, which are about 71 inches long with bi-pin ends and 100W rating. Check the lamp label inside your bed before buying; shorter or longer lamps will not fit.

Question 3

How often should I replace tanning bed lamps?

Accepted Answer

Most salons relamp after roughly 500 to 1,000 hours of use, since UV output drops well before the lamp stops glowing. Follow your bed maker's schedule.

Question 4

Do I need to replace all 16 at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for even tanning. Mixing new and old lamps leaves uneven UV output across the bed, so a full set is the usual practice.

Question 5

Is this the same as the original Dark Tan II?

Accepted Answer

The listing names the Dark Tan II F71 T12 at 100W. Confirm the exact model code on the lamp you are replacing matches before ordering a box.

Question 6

Is it cheaper to buy single lamps instead?

Accepted Answer

Single lamps often cost more per unit and shipping adds up. A box of 16 is the practical route if you are relamping a whole bed.
