- Is the WORKPRO 12V drill good for furniture assembly?
- Yes. Its light weight, two speeds and 20 Nm of torque handle flat-pack screws and small pilot holes well. It is not the tool for decking or driving long screws into hardwood.
- Does it come with bits and a charger?
- Yes. The 19-piece kit includes a charger and one 1,500 mAh 12V lithium-ion battery, so it works out of the box.
- How long does the battery last?
- WORKPRO rates runtime at up to 45 minutes, which in practice covers a session of light drilling and driving. Expect less under continuous load.
- Can I use standard drill bits in it?
- Yes. The 3/8-inch keyless chuck takes common round and hex-shank bits up to 3/8 inch.
- Is $30.99 a good price?
- It is at the low end of its recent range and four stores list it new, so it is a fair buy at that price as of November 7, 2026.
- Does it have a hammer or clutch setting?
- It has a two-speed gearbox and variable speed but no hammer mode. Torque is fixed at 20 Nm rather than set by an adjustable clutch.
