The Striker-X is a beginner-ready quadcopter with a 720p HD camera, a 2.4GHz four-channel transmitter and a 100-foot control range. It flies at up to 10 mph and runs about 12 minutes on its 3.7V 500mAh LiPo battery. At $49.95 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, which suits a first drone or a gift. The 720p camera and short range keep it a toy-grade flyer rather than a camera drone for serious aerial video.

Ratings average 3 out of 5 from 78 reviews, which fits a budget toy drone: buyers like the price and easy start, but many report short battery life and fragile parts.
