Our take on the WORX 40V 185 MPH 350 CFM Cordless Leaf Blower/Vac/Mulcher (2 x 4.0 Ah Batteries & 1 x Charger)

The WORX WG585 is a 40V cordless handheld leaf blower built around a brushless in-line motor, sold with two 4.0 Ah PowerShare batteries and a charger. It is a blower only: despite the vac/mulcher wording in its name, the specs list no vacuum or mulching capability. It weighs 6.6 lbs and is rated at 71 dB. The best new price is $219.99 at Amazon as of November 6, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to compare against.

Questions and answers

Does the WORX WG585 vacuum and mulch leaves?
No. The listed specs give no vacuum or mulching capability; it is a blower only. Treat the vac/mulcher wording in the name with caution.
How long does the battery last?
WORX rates it at up to 40 minutes, and the two 4.0 Ah batteries let you swap and keep working. Expect much shorter runtime on the highest speed.
What comes in the box?
The blower, two 40V 4.0 Ah PowerShare batteries, a charger, and a gutter cleaning kit.
Is it good for wet or heavy leaves?
WORX lists moving wet or embedded leaves as a top use case, and the brushless motor is rated at 27 cc gas-equivalent power. It is not a substitute for a backpack blower on large properties.
Is $219.99 a good price?
That is the best new price as of November 6, 2026, at Amazon, and only one store lists it new. With no competing listings, there is no lower market price to compare it to.
Do the batteries work in other WORX tools?
Yes. They use the PowerShare system, so they fit other WORX 20V and 40V tools that take the same batteries.
Where is the WORX 40V 185 MPH 350 CFM Cordless Leaf Blower/Vac/Mulcher (2 x 4.0 Ah Batteries & 1 x Charger) cheapest?
At Amazon, for $219.99, as of our latest check.
