Our take on the XenonPro 9005 Full Xenon HID Headlights Kit

The XenonPro 9005 kit replaces halogen 9005 bulbs with HID capsules, ballasts and wiring that plug into the factory harness. It comes in 35W and 55W versions, rated 2,750 to 4,000 lumens per bulb and 15,000 hours of life, with anti-glare shielding and a voltage range of 9 to 32V. The best new price is $139.99 at XenonPro as of November 5, 2026, and it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Best forDrivers upgrading halogen 9005 high beams or single-filament low beamsOwners who want a plug-and-play install without cutting factory wiringVehicles with 12V or 24V electrical systemsBuyers who want brighter output without a full projector retrofit
Pros
  • Factory-style plugs and locking tabs simplify installation
  • 35W and 55W options let you balance brightness and heat
  • Anti-glare shielding reduces light scatter toward oncoming traffic
  • 15,000-hour rated bulb life outlasts typical halogens
  • Wide 9-32V input suits cars and trucks
Cons
  • HID ballasts and extra wiring take space in the engine bay
  • Warm-up time before full brightness, unlike halogen
  • Not legal for low beams in every state or inspection area
  • 55W versions run hotter and stress housings and relays
  • No price history to show whether $139.99 is a good deal

Questions and answers

Is the XenonPro 9005 kit worth it over new halogen bulbs?
If your housings are in good shape and you want a clear brightness jump, the kit delivers roughly two to three times halogen output. Halogen replacements cost far less, so the kit pays off mainly in light output and bulb life.
Should I get 35W or 55W?
35W is the safer pick for stock reflectors and wiring; it runs cooler and is less likely to glare or trip warnings. Choose 55W only if your housing and harness are rated for the extra heat and current.
Will it fit my car without modification?
The kit uses 9005 plugs and OEM-style locking tabs, so it fits vehicles that take 9005 bulbs. Some cars need a CAN-bus adapter or relay harness to avoid flicker or bulb-out warnings.
How long does installation take?
Plan about 25 minutes per bulb, plus time to mount the ballasts. Bumper or housing removal on some models adds more.
Is it legal for road use?
HID conversions are restricted for low beams in many states and can fail inspection. Check your local rules before installing; use in high beams or off-road is more commonly allowed.
When is the price lowest?
Only one new price, $139.99 at XenonPro as of November 5, 2026, is listed, so there is no history to time a purchase. Watch for kit bundles or seasonal sales.
Where is the XenonPro 9005 Full Xenon HID Headlights Kit cheapest?

Where can I buy the XenonPro 9005 Full Xenon HID Headlights Kit?
