Is the XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro worth it?

It is worth it if you want a compact 1080p projector for dark rooms and travel. If you need a bright living-room projector for daytime sports, a larger lamp-based model is a better fit.

How bright is 450 lumens in practice?

450 lumens is fine for a dark bedroom or a dim room at night. With curtains open or lights on, the image looks washed out, so plan on controlling the light.

Does it have a battery, and how long does it last?

Yes, it has a built-in battery. Expect roughly a couple of hours at moderate brightness, less at full brightness, so bring a USB-C power bank for longer sessions.

Does it support Netflix?

Android TV is built in, but Netflix certification has varied by unit and region. If Netflix is essential, check the listing or plan to cast from a phone or plug in a streaming stick.

The standard box includes the projector, a remote, a power adapter and a quick-start guide. A carry case is usually sold separately.

Portable projectors like this tend to drop during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Watch the price history and buy when it dips below its recent average.

Our take on the XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro

The XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro is a portable 1080p DLP projector with a built-in battery, a 450-lumen LED light source, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI and USB connections. Its standout feature is a built-in adjustable stand that lets it project onto a wall or ceiling without a tripod, plus Android TV streaming built in. At 450 lumens it is made for dark rooms and casual movie nights rather than daylight viewing. It sits in the budget-to-mid portable projector class, where street prices typically run well below full-size home projectors.
